Tangy Marinated Yellow Squash (No Cooking)

Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup oil
1 teaspoon pepper
4 medium yellow squash, thinly sliced
2/3 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons wine vinegar
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
1/2 cup green onions, chopped

Directions

  • 1 Toss yellow squash, green onion, green pepper, and celery together.
  • 2 Mix the marinade ingredients together.
  • 3 Pour marinade over squash mixture.
  • 4 Refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
