Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients

3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs, whites only
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 3/4 cups whipping cream

Directions

  • 1 In a frozen bowl (freezer for 10 min), mix the whipping cream until soft peaks form.
  • 2 Pour in the vanilla and continue to mix until fully whipped, set aside in fridge.
  • 3 In a separate bowl, mix the eggs whites until foamy.
  • 4 Add the sugar and continue to mix until fluffy, set aside in fridge.
  • 5 Melt the chocolate and transfer to a big bowl.
  • 6 Add the egg whites and fold in until combined.
  • 7 Add the whipped cream and fold in until combined.
  • 8 Once mousse is blended together, refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • 9 Serve cold and garnish with whipped cream or shaved chocolate.
